I have finally found out how to set firefox as my default browser for all applications. Don't you hate it when you click a link in a third-party program and it opens it in IE? Well this seemed to fix the problem:
START > RUN then type:
firefox.exe -silent -nosplash -setDefaultBrowser
Yeah, no Internet Explorer!
